Nouvago Capital AB invests in the thriller Beyond Deceit starring Al Pacino and Anthony Hopkins

The American thriller Beyond Deceit" will be Nouvago's first international venture, and includes Academy Award winners Al Pacino and Anthony Hopkins, together with Josh Duhamel, Alice Eve and Malin Åkerman.

"After 18 major Swedish film investments, we are ready to invest abroad. We've been working for several years to find the best project and Beyond Deceit with its amazing cast and production team feels totally right", says Frank Bonn, CEO, Nouvago Capital. "We're aware of the big interest in the film industry - both nationally and internationally and therefore Nouvago is moving towards starting a film fund for outside investors."

In "Beyond Deceit", we get to follow a young and ambitious lawyer (Josh Duhamel) who takes on a case against a pharmaceutical company with their CEO (Anthony Hopkins) in the lead and quickly becomes embroiled in a tangled web of bribery and corruption. Al Pacino plays mentor to Duhamel's character.

Beyond Deceit is Shintaro Shimosaw's debut as a director and is written by Adam Mason and Simon Boyes. Nouvago Capital is co-producing the movie together with Chimney and Film i Väst. Beyond Deceit is expected to have its world premiere in early 2016.
